The State Kyokushin Karate Championship for children (up to 8 years and up to 10 years) and the State Championship for boys and girls – juniors and seniors passed with great interest. The two championships under the auspices of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation were held successfully over the weekend in Shumen.

A total of 384 karatekas from all over the country took part in the battles. Тhe youngest representatives were 152 karatekas from 26 clubs. In 12-14 year olds, boys and girls of senior age group 232 karatekas from 28 clubs took part.

The special awards for “High fighting spirit” were won by Petar Taralov (“Fighter” Plovdiv), Blagovesta Mitrovska (“Gladiator” Sadovo), Adrian Dobrev (“Kyokushin” Yambol), Violeta Nedyalkova (“Kyokushin” Shumen), Georgi Yordanov (“Champion (Parvomay), Darina Chiflidjanova (Satori Samokov).

The prizes for “Best Technique” went to: David Genchev (“Kyokushin” Yambol), Adriana Mihaleva (Kyokushin “Yambol), Presian Marinov (” Katana “Veliko Tarnovo), Mira Merodiyska (” Ipon “Ruse), Atanas Georgiev ( “Kyokushin” Shumen) and Monika Stoyanova (“Nadezhda” Gabrovo).

All winners in the different categories were awarded medals, diplomas and cups.
