This weekend was especially exciting for the boys and girls in the national team of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF). They took part in a Kyokushin training camp held by the BKKF between May 7th and 9th in Varna.

It was attended by over 60 of the most prominent Kyokushin fighters in Bulgaria, who trained under the expert guidance of Sensei Zahari Damyanov, Sensei Petar Martinov, Sensei Hristo Hristov, Sensei Zhivko Andreev and Sempay Alexandra Marinova.

Among the special guest instructors was the executive director of the Professional League of the World Kyokushin Union and chairman of the National Association of Martial Arts Shihan Ivo Kamenov.

The main goal of the training sessions was to prepare the juniors from BKKF for the largest international Kyokushin camp of KWU, which this year will be held in early July in the seaside resort of Kamchia.

As part of the large-scale Kyokushin camp, another important event will take place in the world of martial arts, for which the native Kyokushin lions were preparing last weekend – the World Cup for youths, boys and girls Varna Cup 2021.
