Nearly 90 participants from 25 Bulgarian clubs competed in the State Championship for men and women in the juniors’ and seniors’ categories.
The event took place in Stara Zagora and the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation made sure that all anti-COVID measures were in place for the smooth run of the forum.

Among the boys and girls with the award for “Highest fighting spirit” were awarded Monika Stoyanova from “Nadezhda” – Gabrovo and Atanas Parvanov from “Gladiator” – Sadovo.

The awards for “Best Technique” were won by Hristiana Dimitrova from “Katana” – Veliko Tarnovo and Gabriel Kostov from “Kyokushin” – Yambol.

The prizes for the best technique for men and women went to Gennady Stoev from “Champion” – Parvomay and Monika Stoyanova from “Nadezhda” – Gabrovo. Atanas Lichev from “Champion” – Parvomay and Viktor Merazov from “Nadezhda” – Gabrovo stood out with fighting spirit.

The member of the Management Board of BKKF – Shihan Asen Assenov (6th dan), presented the Vereya Cup to Monika Stoyanova from Nadezhda – Gabrovo and Genadi Stoev from Champion – Parvomay.
