The “Golden Belt” for 2020 in the category “Bright Victory” was awarded to another representative of Kyokushin – Deyan Bratkov from the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation. He started practicing Kyokushin karate in 1999, and is currently a 2nd dan and holds the title of “Honored Master of Sports”. He has many achievements in his sports career. In 2013 he won a bronze medal at the Kyokushin Karate World Championships, and in 2015 he became third at the KWU World Championships in Khabarovsk, and was later moved to 2nd place in the standings. This meeting, together with his battle for the Gomel Cup in Belarus, where he won first place and the cup with two knockouts out of three matches, are his two brightest victories. He has two more bronze medals from the European KWU Championship in Berlin in 2015 and from the All Japan tournament. He is currently the coach of the men and women in SC “Armeec” Sofia.
